Home Sweet Home... not Alabama

Went home and almost instantly wanted to come back to Haapsalu. It's an unwritten rule with me. They were happy to see me, almost all of them. As usual, little sister not so impressed. She's annoyed with everything I ever do. So what if I rather spend my time online writing stupid blogs? At least I'm not gallivanting with some rejects who are never going to mount to something better than a fisherman. And what's it to her how I make my pasta salad? I like it just the way I make it.

I feel as if my post is mostly bitching about my sister. There ought to be other things I can complain about? Sure, let me think of something... Well, my mum did play a nasty trick on me. She gave me the impression that I was home vacationing, but after two days she slammed me with some chores. Dang it! I hoped it wouldn't be a normal visit. And I can now say it was a visit as I felt like I wasn't at home. It felt like Haapsalu a year ago. I believe this moment could very well stand for me flying out of the nest. The two questions that rise now are: 1) Will I make it or am I going to retreat? and 2) Will my parents cope with it? My baby sister will be happy, I'm sure. Grandmother probably not. She actually gave me a hug when I arrived. That's a first and it felt weird.

Dad, I miss him the most when I'm away. He's too cool for school. Big surprise was that he'd spend some money and bought his dream TV. It's huge! 42" to be accurate. I don't know why he needs something like that, but he's like me. We love gadgets and spending money on upgrades. I mean, I've been researching new mobile phones. My phone works almost perfectly and it's only two years old... Still, I'd like to change it up and get an advanced one. I'm a techno freak like that.

Well done! I've managed to complain about my family and tell you some near future, unnecessary, plans. I've started to watch Game of Thrones and I'm quite impressed. It's well done, but very gruesome at the same time. Plus the episodes are like 55 minutes long so I can't stand watch more than three in a row. That's still too much, I think. Anyway, that's my TV recommendation. For film lovers or buffs, Crazy Stupid Love will soon be out on DVD and YOU (AJ) should really watch it. Comedy without stupid romance is always something worth those 80-90 minutes out of our lives.

Kisses and hugs, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite. :D
