So, I'm going to do something I haven't done before: I'm going to post some stuff in Estonian (my native language). I apologize in advance for these little riddles as most of you won't probably understand them. They are simple and a bit sarcastic and some are plainly mean. It's this thing I sometimes do. I write riddles about people around me. I even wrote one about myself, I'm going to try to translate it. They will be posted in a chronological order, I'm a neat freak.
1. Mõista, mõista, kes ma olen:
Seelik lühike kui pluus,
pats mul pikem kui Niilus.
Ego suurem kui Hiinamüür,
aju sama kui lestakala.
2. Mõista, mõista, kes ma olen:
Rumalaid küsimusi tulistan valangus,
miski pole suurem alandus.
Lemmik on karvatu taks,
mis lollim kui mistahes laps.
3. Mõista, mõista, kes see on:
Saapavaramu vööni tal,
pole leebe nagu lambatall!
Vihast punetav on kaunis nägu
Hahaa! hääl kaigub kui kägu.
4. Mõista, mõista, kes ma olen:
On mul särav lilla juus,
olen äge, üsna tuus.
Sõidan ratsa, selleks Pipi,
naer on parajalt nummi!
5. Mõista, mõista, kes ma olen:
Laisk ja lohakas mu keskmine nimi,
riietusest selge, ma pole tibi.
Rumalat huumorit kasutan tihti,
inglise keelde tõlgin ta viuhti!
Translation for the last one: Guess who I am:
Lazy and sloppy are my middle names,
look at my clothes, I'm no babe
Stupid humor is in constant use,
translate into English, shaboom!
That would be the rough translation. I tried to make it poetic as in Estonian they are almost in rhymes. I guess that's pretty much all I have to share with you. Will continue with my domesticated and boring life.
See you soon, Regina (aka R.E.X alias Responsibility Excluded (by) Xanax!) x)
