So, this is again one of those weeks when I do nothing but work and sleep. Very little school as work is interrupting and there aren't many classes.
I managed to finally finish this book I was reading: "Magician's Apprentice" by Trudi Canavan. A decent 680 page novel. I recommend it to people who like to read about a storyline that takes place in a time that reminds me of the middle ages. Only problem I had with it was the fact that the medicine was more up to date than it should have been. The characters were good, their personal story lines... nothing amazed me. Pretty much a book that's ending you can guess after reading the first 100 pages.
And that's the problem nowadays. All these "bestsellers" are predictable. I only read them because I have nothing better to do. I used to love fantasy but recently I find it annoying. I'm almost certain that HP was the last decent series. Though I have issues with t
hose books as well. I have issues with everything I read or see. I can't be satisfied as it turns out.
So, I finished the book. Now I'm bored at work. I picked up a book I've read before. I like this book. This weekend I'm going home and raiding my book self. There has to be at least one good novel... Either I find something I haven't read before or I'm going to re-read something else.
Oh, and I just figured out something about myself. I might have OCD in a mild form. When I'm bored I like to organize things. Drawers and selves are my vice. I find it relaxing and both my mind and hands are busy. Perfect activity for those rainy days. Just have to make sure it stays mild, otherwise I'm going to end up like Emma Pillsbury from Glee. That would be odd. :D
Anyway, watching Lethal Weapon 2 right now. It's my favourite... :P
