Haven't blogged because nothing important came to mind. What's the use of noting up stuff that's happened before. There are some new developments: school semester is over (finally) and now I only have to worry about work and a place to sleep. The dorm is closed, so I had to find a substitute location. My friends place seems quite right. And it's only for three days. Luckily my schedule is arranged so I don't have to live there for too long. After that I can move back into the dorm and sleep in my bed.
Currently it's Friday and I can go home on Sunday morning. It's Christmas by the way. Which means I will be answering stupid questions and smiling and pretending like I'm having a good time. Isn't life awesome? Got some presents for my family, hope they're pleased with them. Kiku isn't getting anything from me because her present is a tattoo and our tattoo person can't yet tattoo her. I'm paying of course. She's digging herself quite a debt hole. Got my father a t-shirt with a nice slogan, mum a scented candle (really big one) and grandma gets some nice tea. She loves tea and it's herbal, so perfect. All I really did with my own hands was a couple of cards I'm going to attach to the presents. Hope they like what they're getting.
Work is boring, there's not that many people in the hotel at the moment and I'm not letting anyone in during the night. They're always drunk and cause trouble. I just want to sleep and not deal with idiots all night. I just say that the hotel is full and we can't accommodate you. They look annoyed and surprised but they go away. It's my choice whether or not I let them in. I don't feel safe with drunk twenty-something men trashing the place. I'm all alone in there and it sucks. Plus, it would mean I have to make more food for breakfast. I'm way too lazy for that.
Looking out of my window I see that it's going to be a black Christmas. No snow and it's currently quite fall like. It's wet and dirty. Not a perfect Christmas I must say. And it's unusual. The weather was perfect for two straight year. Last year, by this time, people were already tired of snow. It just kept coming down again and again. This year nothing. Last night it did snow but it's gone and won't be back anytime soon. I like snow. Plus without winter I'm not going to enjoy my Christmas present. I'm getting a new pair of skates. I love ice-skating and I've needed new ones for quite some time. Finally I'm getting them and there's no ice to skate on. FML! I must say.
Fine, I'll go, get some sleep (maybe) before work. It's good for my health if I sleep before work. One never knows what might happen during the night. And to you all I wish a Merry Christmas and a super Happy New Year. Don't forget to enjoy you beds while you're drinking and over eating. :)
