This is not a simple question. Not at all. But I have found a few answers for this specific question. I will now try to reflect them on to this amazing blog.
Firstly, I want someone who wants me too. Not in a let's breathe the same air 24/7 kind of way, but someone who is interested in me and wants to make time for me and know how my day was. Someone who at least pretends to care.
Secondly, I need a guy who is fine with me disappearing. I have found that I tend to pull back and go a bit cold after 2 months of the intense let's never be apart phase. For an uncertain amount of time, I will say I'm busy or tired and just blow the guy off for random reasons. It's called defence mechanisms, as it's my heart trying to protect itself. I need a guy who ignores my excuses and finds me and makes me spend time with him. Don't take no for an answer.
Lastly, I really want someone who treats me like a princess and brings me flowers or presents now and then. But mostly, he should just decide what we do and when we do it. And he should also be the boss of me, as I have to boss people around all day long at my job. I just need someone to take control and tell me which way is up.
As you might have gathered, my ideal guy is quite complicated and probably would need therapy at some point of the relationship. Maybe I simply want too much, since so far no guy has ever even done half of it. I might come across bossy, but all I really want and need is someone to tell me to shut up and what to do.
I also would appreciate the guy making surprises. Like coming to visit me without letting me know before hand. Just showing up at my work or my apartment would be so sweet and adorable.
As always,
high expectations equals no luck at all.
Maybe my future will be a little bit brighter.
All my love (hate),
R.
