So, school. It has begun and with vengeance. The days are long and tiring. Unusual is an adjective I find best describes this situation. We were left with quite a hefty load of homework as well. I have managed to complete a good portion of it, but the biggest is still in line. I decided to give You a taste of what I'm supposed to do.
One of my assignments was to write two poems. Not like the ones I've ever done before. One of the types I used was called a cinquain and the other a diamante. Here are my concoctions. Enjoy.
Sea
Warm, Cool
Moving, Waving,
Feeding
Part of my happy
dream
Life
Life
Long, Hard
Exiting, Full-filling, Never-ending
Funny, Weird, Mad, Painful
Trying, Hurting,
Haunting
Sad, Irrefutable
Death
So, I went my usual gloomy self got to play again. I still have to write a postcard, an invitation and a note of some sort. Loads to do. And then I have to mobilize myself and read a 10 page article and based on that fascinating read I will have to write a 250 word analysis about myself as a teacher at this point in my life. As You might have noticed I will have a few problems with sticking to only 250 words. That's less than a page. I am surely going to have to go hard on myself. Damn.
Anyhow, time to work and be productive again. I can quite surely promise to write once a week from now on as I'm back to my regular life for now. But if you've been here before you know by now that I'm really bad at keeping my promises.
So, for now I must abide you all farewell and hopefully we can see each other soon enough. After another vigorous week at school...
Regina
