Sons of Anarchy (2008- )

Sons of Anarchy is a TV program which I have become addicted to. I have spent the past week trying to catch up with the existing 5 seasons. I reached season five yesterday night. Now it's almost half way done. Whenever I fall in love with a show or anything, I have to either watch it or read it very quickly and all at once. Then I reach the second round of insanity and start to check out their interviews and SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) videos on YouTube. I reach the level of insanity I am sometimes afraid of. 

But let's stay on the subject of SOA. It's a show like no other I have ever seen. I find myself rooting for the obvious bad guys. They are part of a huge motorcycle club (or should I say gang?) which sells guns to drug dealing gangs. They like to ride their bikes, screw women, fight with both fists and guns and all around brake the rules and the law. And still I am in love with them. How messed up must I be? 

The main character is Jackson "Jax" Teller and he is a hot one. As usual, of course. He's portrayed by Charlie Hunnam who in real life is a Britt. The accent alone can melt a female's heart. Jax is the kind of biker-boy who wants to change things around. He wants his doctor wife and two boys to be safe and happy (so spoiling season 5). 

In season 1 the gang has to teal with the ATF. They also beef out with the Mayans, the Nords and the 9ers. All extreme gangs on their own. An ATF agent frames one of the guys (Opie) as a rat and in the season final, Clay aka the President of SOA gets his right hand man Tig to kill Opie. But it all goes to shit when Tig accidentally shoots his wife Donna in the back of the head. Suck that happy endings!

Season 2 is more ATF bitch drama, now adding the RIRA (Real IRA) alias the Irish gun dealers as a problem. Clay gets more and more annoying, Jax is thinking about getting out, doing something else. He has a son and a nice "old lady" as Tara the doc sticks by his side. Season ends bloody and sad: Jax' little kid gets kidnapped by the Irish douche. It's all down the shitter now. 

Season 3 begins with the aftermath of Abel's kidnapping. Tara and Jax are in trouble, Jax tries to push her away. Then they fly over to Ireland to get the baby back. All types of shit hits the fan. When Tara gets taken herself, Gemma (Jax' mum) tells him that Tara is pregnant. Jax now heds over and saves the day by committing another murder. It's at least 2 people he's killed to keep Tara safe. The baby is also good.

Season 4 begins with the crew getting out of jail. Tara is waiting for Jax with their two boys. A happy family. He proposes and promises they're getting out of the club and life. But as things go around this show, no happy ending yet. Clay gets them involved with the Mexican cartell as drug mules and gun salesmen. Tara gets attacked on Clay's orders. Basically it's the season that Clay became the antagonist and the really bad guy. Jax let's him live because the RIRA will not deal without Clay. What a shit storm!

Season 5 as I mentioned is for me reaching the half point. It's also the no return point. I'm hooked for as long as this show runs.
